In-Shop Computer Tune-Up - $99.95 (flat fee limited time special)
Has your computer become painfully slow or is unusable? This condition is usually the result of stuff that accumulates over time: spyware, malware, viruses, unnecessary programs and processes running on start-up, damaged registry or corrupt operating system files. Surprisingly most of the computers brought into my shop have viruses or spyware on them and the owner does not even know it! A Tune-Up can help return your computer to new, or even better than new, performance.

Included in the Tune-Up:

  • Dust cleaning (remove dust that can clog the fans and overheat the hardware)
  • Professional Hardware Diagnostic Check (advise on any needed repairs)
  • Security audit and scan (check for adware, spyware, malware, viruses)
  • Removal of old outdated software and optimize start-up programs
  • Disk cleanup (for better performance, faster start-up times)
  • Disk defragmentation (for better performance, faster start-up times)
  • Installation of free Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware, and Adblock software. (saves you $$)
  • Installation of a few free and useful programs
  • Install Critical Windows Updates and Service Packs (for better security and performance)

The Tune-Up must be performed at my location and usually requires at least 24 to 48 hours to complete. Tune-Up is labor time only and does does not include any parts that might need replacing. This service can be performed on laptop or desktop computers. (In-shop price)

Migrate Your Files to a New Computer with Set-Up Tune-Up - $69.95
Have you just purchased a new computer and need your files transfered off of your old one? I can transfer your documents, photos, music, and e-mail from your old computer to your new computer. If your old computer does not run, I can sometimes recover the files for an additional Data Recovery charge. Do not throw away your old computer, bring it to me and I will recover your files and recycle it for you. This service also includes a new computer Set-Up Tune-Up. I will remove the trial software, perform windows updates, and install a Free Anti-Virus. (includes up to 10G saved data, then $1 per G over 10G) (In-shop price)

Remove adware, spyware, malware, and viruses. This service also includes my Tune-Up Special. Your computer will get a hardware check, dust cleaning, driver updates, free useful utilities, new better security software, and a defrag. Many people say their computer runs faster than when it was new. Note: Some viruses damage system files so that a system re-install will be needed. If this is the case, you will be contacted for approval of the addidional services that will be needed. (In-shop price)

Operating System Reinstall with Personal Data Restore and Tune-Up - call for price
Computers slow down because of the abundant software, plugins, and adware installed on them over time. Viruses can cause damage to system files requiring a reinstall. I will back up all of your photos, documents, music, videos, favorites, etc., format your hard drive, and reinstall the operating system. Do not run "System Restore" on your own, it can delete your personal files and many times it will even fail and make things worse. I have well proven methods to reinstall with all the latest updates/service packs while saving your personal files. This service also includes my Tune-Up Special. Your computer will get a hardware check, dust cleaning, driver updates, free useful utilities, new better security software, and a defrag. On-Site wireless setup - call for price
I will come to your home or office and install a wireless networking router. Includes setup and activation of security features. Hardware not included. Router sold separately. Requires you already have a working Cable or DSL broadband connection. Requires someone 18 years or older to be present. My normal call out service area is Long Beach, Ocean Park, Ilwaco, Seaview, Chinook, Surfside, Oysterville, Klipsan Beach, and Nahcotta. Peninsula addresses within 20 miles of downtown Long Beach, WA.
