I have an Intel x48 board (all new build e8400,ddr3,new drives, new video)and for some time have been having random crashes with no bsod or dump info. I thought it was PS which was 650w so I went to a 750w, continued after short while so thinking memory I swapped it all out for kingston, continued after a short while again, thinking must be video then going from a 7900 gt to a 8800gts acs series thinking most randoms happen while gaming and extra cooling from acs should help. Which it did seem better for awhile then it popped up again so I jumped to a 260 and played some newer games only to have it pop up again all this being random and many hours of av software later to rule out malware. I have all the latest drivers and have dumped on-board sound, lan which seemed to lessen the re-boot issues. I had to fix 4 dell 260 machines for work as none would run stable and after many hours of searching I cam across an article that said look for caps that didn't have a K stamped on them but had now a X of which all the dells were like that, so I opened my case to find many K stamps but also some X stamps and now wonder do I also have failed caps
